Survival II takes lessons learned in I and applies them to practical experience. Like Survival I students will have their gear and a set of tasks to accomplish in addition to just surviving the five day course. However, much like life, the tasks will become harder and the topics more diverse. Topics include friction fire, cordage, containers, foraging, tools, traps and more.
Students can expect to be tired, hungry and should be familiar with their gear. This course will likely exceed your comfort zone and is designed to push your abilities to use your gear effectively in the face of adversity. Completion of Survival I is required before enrolling in this course, as this course is an extension of the other.
Upon completion of this course students will receive a Blackthorn-USA certificate of completion. They will also receive a Blackthorn-USA patch and the “Survival II” tab to go with it.
