While it’s true that grubs and roots are edible, you can also make nutritious and delicious meals around the camp fire. Join us for a day of primitive and modern outdoor cooking and discover just how easy it can be.
This entry level class will teach students the most effective method of fire building for cooking. Whether it is for open fire rotisserie, a rock oven or that perfect bed of coals this course will whet your appetite. Students will prepare and cook foods such as fish, fowl, meats and vegetables using methods including hot rock cooking, clay baking, kabobs and more. Come spend a day filled with food, fun and friends.
