     This four day course gives you the opportunity to put to use all that gear you’ve spent so much time and money on. Students will spend 4 days in the woods using only the items they brought with them to survive and complete a series of tasks given by the instructors. Topics include improvised shelter and fire, water collection and purification, tracking and traps and more.

    Students should have a basic working knowledge of their gear. This moderately challenging course will allow you to not only test your equipment in real life situations and find out what works best for you, but you will also have the opportunity to learn about and use equipment you might not be familiar with.

    Upon completion of this course students will receive a Blackthorn-USA certificate of completion. They will also receive a Blackthorn-USA patch and the “Survival I” tab to go with it.
